About Silver Linings
Every piece of jewellery made in the Silver Linings studio begins with a simple belief: that beautiful, handcrafted things have the power to bring joy.
Silver Linings is the work of Rachel, a jeweller based in Sellicks Beach, South Australia. Working from her home studio, Rachel creates one-of-a-kind pieces using traditional metalsmithing techniques — lost wax casting, reticulation, flame painting, and more — each one shaped entirely by hand.
The name Silver Linings has a deeply personal meaning. Rachel's journey into jewellery making grew out of her experience with breast cancer. Cancer took a great deal, but it also gave her something unexpected: time. Time to slow down, to reassess, and to invest in what truly brings her joy. For Rachel, that silver lining was finding her way back to the studio — to the meditative rhythm of working with metal, fire, and stone.
Every piece Rachel makes carries that spirit. The sea glass collected from the shores of Sellicks Beach. The moonstone with its mysterious blue flash. The copper transformed by flame into something iridescent and alive. Each one is made with intention, care, and a deep love of the craft.
