Cuttlefish Cast Sterling Silver Drop Earrings

Bold, organic, and utterly one of a kind — these sterling silver drop earrings are made using the ancient art of cuttlefish casting, a technique that imprints the natural bone texture of the cuttlefish directly into the molten silver. The result is a surface that is raw, tactile, and impossible to replicate exactly.

At 60mm in length and 4.65g, these earrings make a confident statement while remaining comfortable to wear. Each pair is shaped and finished entirely by hand in the Silver Linings studio.

The name Silver Linings came from my breast cancer experience. Cancer has taken so much from me but also gave me time to reevaluate how I was living my life. The “silver lining” of cancer for me was slowing down and investing in what brings me joy; making and creating in my studio at home.
