Molten Silver & Copper Pebble Double Band Ring
This ring is the result of a moment of curiosity in the studio. Molten silver was left to cool slowly in the crucible — then, mid-way through the cooling process, the crucible was gently moved, allowing the metal to shift and settle into its own organic, rippled texture. No two movements are ever the same, making the surface entirely unrepeatable.
The finishing touch is a small hand-formed copper pebble, nestled on the surface like a pearl resting in an open shell — a warm glint of colour against the cool silver. Set on a double band for comfort and stability, this ring is as much a conversation piece as it is jewellery.
At 6g and sized at R, it has a satisfying, grounded weight on the hand.
Handcrafted in South Australia from sterling silver and copper.
The name Silver Linings came from my breast cancer experience. Cancer has taken so much from me but also gave me time to reevaluate how I was living my life. The “silver lining” of cancer for me was slowing down and investing in what brings me joy; making and creating in my studio at home.
